Meet Dr. Omer Kaspi

Dr. Omer Kaspi is a highly experienced System Engineering and AI professional with over a decade of expertise in the defense industry, specifically in the fields of electronic warfare (EW), RF engineering, and advanced signal intelligence (SIGINT, COMINT, and COMJAM). As Head of the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System (C-UAS) Engineering department at Elbit Systems, Dr. Kaspi directed teams of engineers and integrators, leading complex R&D projects to develop and enhance next-generation defense technologies. His project leadership emphasizes collaboration across disciplines, integrating capabilities from Command and Control (C2), Cybersecurity, EO/IR, and more to create holistic solutions tailored to the unique needs of the defense sector.

Dr. Kaspi’s commitment to advancing the field extends beyond his industry work; he frequently shares his knowledge through lectures and presentations at leading international conferences. With a Ph.D. in AI applications for forensic science from Bar-Ilan University, he has published groundbreaking research in machine learning for forensic applications and materials informatics.
